Barbara has almost completed her knitted jacket (below left). She unpicked an unworn garment made many years ago and has re-knitted it into something much more useful. As you can see from a closer image of the pattern at right, the pure wool yarn had hardly 'crinkled' from its almost 20 years of being knitted. One reason for this is likely that Barbara uses the 'Continental method' of knitting - thereby ensuring a better tension is constantly maintained.
All that's left for Barbara to do is press it and then add buttons.
