AUTUMN TERM 2009 ...

WEEK 1
On the first Friday, we have 10 students all rearing to stitch with possibly another 2 to enrol - I think they're still on holiday. It's nice to see 4 new faces - hope they'll all be back next week!

Already on the go are: crochet, machine and hand embroidery, tapestry, knitting, patchwork, beading, temari and crochet so next Friday I'll be taking some photos of the students' work.

Reminders that the Knitting & Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace in 2 weeks were met with 'yes - must visit that' so no doubt there will be a few other ideas for work. I'm hoping to get along too and as tutor, no doubt will try to find some new ideas or suggestions for inspiration - so watch this space!!!!!!!

WEEK 3
We're up to 12 students who have enrolled in the class - 3 new ones : Mary (2), Sian and Zoe. 2 students are returning after a break of a few years (Carol and Martin) and 7 are back from last year (Barbara, Janet, Janice, Joan, Lenny, Vivian and Sylvia). They are all now beginning to get projects started and underway - their first series of photos now on view.

Unfortunately, 1 student Linda is possibly moving away and 3 students have actually now moved house - Diane, Elaine and Mary (1). We shall be sad to see them go and bid them all a fond farewell. (Linda will keep us posted.)

I visited the Knitting & Stitching Show last Thursday (the first day) - see what I had to say on my own blog - www.stitcherydoodaa.blogspot.com
