Embroidery: Xmas Tablecloth ...

Last week, Sylvia bought along an embroidery tablecloth project - hopefully to finish in time for Christmas. Unfortunately (for her!), the pattern instructions show the design in colours that do not match those of the threads PLUS the design of alternate 'tree sections' is stitched slightly differently to one another thereby causing her more problems!

After discussion, she's decided to stitch alternate 'tree sections' first - this will help resolve some of the colour-differences first noticed. It will also help her get to grips with the different stitching directions. After completing the first section (see photo), she's noticed that the addition of another thread may be beneficial to the colours being used (not part of the kit nor the original design). Hopefully over the week, she will have the alternate stitchings completed so we can discuss this further.
