Barbara brought in this picture she made back in the 1960s using a kit called "Punch Embroidery". The overlay sheet (used in place of glass) has since deteriorated so she will be making a suitable repair using a more up-to-date product.
Barbara's also been knitting a jacket & now has it finished ready for surface stitchery (see right). Here are the 2 front panels which for today will have surplus intarsia 'ends' stitched in. After that she will be embroidering around the green motifs before stitching & completing.One problem she has encountered is that the 2 fronts are slightly different sizes - she will take this into account when embroidering them.
