Sewing: Cushions ...

Janet has not been here since Christmas but has not been idle! She happily informed us she's sorted out her various sewing boxes (making them easier to bring in), put finishing touches to several projects & gathered together fabric & threads ready for stitching more ideas.

These 2 pix show the 2 velvet cushions she started last term - now both finished & usable.

At left is the 'smocked' cushion that uses a small central button to control the smocking. Below right, is the envelope-style cushion complete with tassel corners - made using left-over threads.
