Ruth and Sam have been practising their stitching with very good results - especially as they are both total beginners and new to using a sewing machine. They now feel confident to start on an alteration ... shortening some jeans. As they share the same machine, each will work on one leg. Here's the first one complete with zig-zag neatening and pinned ready to stitch.
