Sewing Machine ...

Ruth and Sam have both been practising threading the machine - Sam can now "thread with her eyes shut" and has completed her first alteration by shortening a pair of jeans. Today, and over the next week, both of them are looking at zig-zag stitching - especially neatening edges.
