Ruth & Sam have now completed their laundry bags (see at left) - hopefully the first of many machine-stitched projects.
Also, (right), here's the very first buttonholes they've stitched on their sewing machine - used as openings for the bag drawstrings.
Sam has also had here first experience with machine embroidery ..... her words "this is fun". Expect to see more on this next year after the summer break.
