It's nice to see Carol back after being ill - she'd started a tapestry cushion panel the last time we had seen her. It's well underway and has only the background left to finish although she thinks she may be short of yarn.
As the panel was purchased several years ago and likely now to be unable to obtain an exact yarn match, I suggested she stitches the main background block and omits the stiutching surrounding the flowers. In that way, if more yarn is needed, any slight variation will be less noticeable imediatley around the flowers as opposed to a block/line across the lower section of the work.
